The Ring of Kerry is a long distance cycle (180km) which takes you around the Iveragh peninsula of Kerry. This is one of the most scenic roads in Ireland is world famous for it.

On this cycle you will be equipped with one of our long distance bicycles which come with panniers, bottle holders, pump, puncture repair kit and lights.

There are many places to stay overnight along this route inlcuding hotstels, B&Bs, hotels and campsites if you're packing your camping bag.

You will pass through coastal towns, cycle over mountain passess with extraordinary views, visit port towns and try fish straight from the sea for your supper, see the great Skellig islands, visit the birthplace of the great Irish historical figure that is Daniel O Connell, and much much more.

This is a truly rewarding cycle and an experience of a lifetime.

If you're planning on undertaking this cycle please have some long distance training under your belt and pack correctly and for every situation including inclement weather, injury, etc.

This is a challenging cycle and sufficient time should be aloowed to complete it according to your fitness level. I recommend anything from three days to a week on this cycle depending on how many kilometres you are willing to do each day and how much time you are willing to spendin each town or village. some are worth a full day. I always say don't rush any of the cycles because the beauty if all these cycle routes is better wtnessed when doing it at your ease and taking your time to appreciate where you are
